This platform is the most unsatisfied online autoresponder for businesses since it is the most complete and easiest to use. I have used this platform and I have verified that if you can create a direct contact with the buyers. For this reason I recommend this platform. This platform sends emails automatically avoiding that we are all day on a computer, this tool allows you to configure personalized messages. It allows creating and programming mailings. With this platform, it prevents emails from reaching the span or spam folder of users.

Once you have you list set up, you can then start to create your email series or campaign. This will be your emails that go out one by one each day or however you set the timing of them all. Aweber has a lot of cool features, but again it is a simple format. You can simply copy and paste and drag and drop you emails from say a word doc into Aweber. Or you can start from scratch and write your entire emails within Aweber itself. It has the same look and feel as a normal email platform would have and more. You can add pictures, videos, shopping carts and products, and many more features.
As of this writing, Gmail, Yahoo!, AOL, Zendesk, rocketmail.com, and ymail.com have changed their DMARC authentication standards to a DMARC = reject policy. Based on this information, Gmail, Yahoo!, AOL, Zendesk, rocketmail.com, and ymail.com email addresses cannot be used as your list's "From" address. Once these new standards are adopted, any email campaigns sent with those email addresses in the "From" line will require that AWeber send your campaigns from an alternate email address.

Overall: I did not get many benefits and had a bad experience overall - i no longer care this happened months ago I am over it but since I am writing a review on software i have used, I would advise all honestly to stay away as my story seems far from unique and had other bad experiences which i don't have time to list - MailChimp is a pretty good alternative if you are checking out ESPs

When I talked about this with their support they suggested that if I wanted co-registration they can setup for me and all I needed to do was to fire an email to AWeber co-registration system for each user who register at my website with the details of the user. AWeber would have a custom parser for the email and add the user to my list automatically.
And then under global text snippets this is more an advanced feature and if you’re going to be making a lot of changes to something from your business like if you have different hours or different offers, this is something you might want to incorporate. But if you’re just going to have a basic autoresponder sequence with helpful information, this isn’t something that you want to do. Then click on save settings…

I remember these guys from over 10 years ago when I started as a freelance web developer. They have always had their finger on the pulse of online marketing and understand, almost better than any other competitor out there, how to convert leads and continue to deliver a sales message properly. You can learn a lot from this company and gain more knowledge from their blog and knowledge base articles than you can from most websites that discuss e-commerce.
Again, click Next Step when you’re ready. You’ll now need to configure a confirmation email for subscriber verification. AWeber provides you with a handy list of pre-approved subject lines that have been shown to perform well. Our recommendation is to use the option that includes your subscriber’s first name, since personalization is always a nice touch:
I love AWeber, too. There have been some complaints from prominent marketers about AWeber and it has to do with the number of people you have on your list. The more people you have on your list the more money you are charged, but, that is true for all auto responder companies. This complaint had to do with poor service in accordance with the amount of money they were paying.
Having used Aweber for a few different reasons (online training program delivery, marketing funnel, client newsletter and updates) it has definitely been my go to software for email marketing. It is competitively priced and the functionality you get for the cost is great. I would suggest spending a period of time familiarizing yourself with (or watching Youtube demos) and testing the software though before adding in real clients.
I've tried various email services multiple times, but I feel the most drawn to Aweber. I like the ease of their email editor. I also like how easy it is to change the order of my legacy follow-up series by simply dragging & dropping the emails in whatever order I wish on the fly. Yes, Aweber is a little more expensive than some other platforms, but I'd rather pay a bit more for something that fits my needs than to be irritated all the time.
Hi Ana, I’m currently using Aweber and I have recently noticed that most of the big “gurus” have been using iContact – My understanding is that you can import your existing list directly to iContact without a double opt-in all over again. All this on a “honor” system but if the spam complaints go about “the” threshold – your iContact account could get shutdown.
For example, say you're a Volkswagen dealer with a mailing list containing a field called 'car model.' You've used field this to segment your mailing list neatly into the owners of VW Polos, Golfs, Passats, Tiguans etc. You have a special offer which is relevant to Polo and Golf owners, and you want to send this message to those two segments in one go.
Cons: Stay away! Their RSS campaign did not send out for a while and then on its own sent out 6 emails at once really pissing off our readers they offered us a discount of 30% if we signed a two year contract after I said it was an inexcusable mistake which cost me hundreds of dollars in unsubscribes and possibly thousands and pissed off my entire email list. 30% off their inflated high price which they had just boosted was not worth it - i have heard many experts and users tell me of Aweber nightmare stories since my experience. I would recommend mailchimp as an option for basic users, i would advice all to stay away from Aweber

For beginners bloggers, the tool might be little expensive. But, intermediate-level bloggers and website owners who will utilize the advanced-level features are a solid fit for this tool. Finally, Aweber shines in its ability to grow with your business. It’s pricing tiers and advanced features will easily support you as your business and email list grows.
George: So Tom, what I love about that, and viewers and listeners, what I love about that is, Tom went with the “Who we’re not a good fit for”, to explain to you, who they are a good fit for. I will also throw in, just a side … This is free, this is free. A side piece of information to you. If you are not generating $19 a month, go get a job. Like, stop this podcast right now and just go get a job. I’m kidding, we love you, viewers and listeners, you know I’m just joking. So Tom, let’s go ahead and talk about, and usually, I ask this, and companies that we interview, it’s probably one problem that they solve. I don’t think that’s the case for AWeber so, if you want to do a problem or problems, it’s totally up to you, but what problem does AWeber help the folks out there solve in their business?
Customer support is also a huge highlight for AWeber. The company deploys a team of email marketing professionals who are highly knowledgeable, responsive, and effective. For those who are new to email marketing, AWeber offers regular live webinars for added instruction and training. Access to data and reports also gives you the insight you need to make better decisions, devise and implement better strategies, and achieve success.
I like Aweber because it is easy to use and reliable. In addition, it integrates with my key automation tools and platforms. I use WordPress to host my sites, OptimizePress for landing pages, Webinar JEO for webinars, and ThriveCart for my shopping cart. Without these integrations my business would be inefficient to run and take too much time. As a solo-entrepreneur my time is at a premium and I need to spend my time serving clients and marketing my business not maintaining it. I have tried other Autoresponders including: GetResponse, ConstantContact, Emma, 1ShoppingCart and Infusionsoft. While each of these platforms have their strengths, I like Aweber best because I'm familiar with it and it does one thing the best... deliver my emails!

It’s really just pricing based on a number of subscribers that you send to monthly. Then, we also have a quarterly and annual, where you can take a little bit of a discount off, if you prepay in advance. But, I really appreciate that customer service, the suite of automation tools, that’s all covered. So, whether you’re paying $19 a month or $149 a month, it’s really gonna be included. You’re gonna have access to all those tools.

The best part about using aweber is it's relieve of use and ability to hyperlink numerous other programs. Earning it easy to maintain of your customers as well as automate a sequence of email messages. I was able to get my investment in Aweber back inside a few months of using it. This may take more or less time based about how big of the following your business has already.
Tom: Yeah, totally. So, I host our podcast so, I’m so used to giving this pitch, over and over again. But, I like to basically start by saying, “AWeber is an email service provider, first and foremost. We were founded in 1998, so I think that’s kind of important, the legacy behind it. In addition to providing the best in class email automation email marketing toolset, we also really pride ourselves in delivering award-winning customer service, some of the best educational resources to help you be a better email marketer.”

AWeber is one of the most popular email marketing services available, and it’s easy to see why. The tool packs in a plethora of powerful features, such as an intuitive drag-and-drop editor and a reliable autoresponder. It’s the latter we’ll focus on today, as it can be used to run your marketing campaigns without lifting a finger (aside from the initial setup process).
When I talked about this with their support they suggested that if I wanted co-registration they can setup for me and all I needed to do was to fire an email to AWeber co-registration system for each user who register at my website with the details of the user. AWeber currently boasts one of the largest sets of email newsletter templates out there, with over 700 different templates to choose from. Some of the design choices look dated, but with the vast selection, you’ll be able to find something that works for you. The templates are drag-and-drop, so you’ll be able to easily add or remove templates elements to your liking.

Once these new standards are adopted, any email campaigns sent with those email addresses in the "From" line will require that AWeber send your campaigns from an alternate email address.

When creating a list, you have the choice of using a pre-generated subject line, such as "Please confirm your request to subscribe" or creating your own. However, creating your own means you have to wait one day for AWeber's team to verify it as a valid subject line. AWeber also has a wizard to walk you through creating signup forms. I was happy to see I could segment users based on custom fields or profile information.
Aweber is often described by professionals and experts as one of the best email marketing service out there. Aweber has a rich set of features which makes it easier for businesses to create new relationships with prospective clients or even enhance existing relationships with current clients. When we look at Aweber pricing plan, it seems Aweber has made the pricing more justified with respect to the features they provide.
Being able to capture potential clients via email signups is huge for my consulting business. The analytics that allow me to see what the open rate, click through rate and sales made from emails I send to my list are super helpful. In the past year, I have been able to fine tune what my list is most responsive to because of the detailed analytics. This is useful for anyone wanting to grow and maintain their email list.
I use this while working as a consultant for others with online business. I usually recommend it to those just starting to gain several hundred people to their email list. In part due to it's ease of use, functionality, overall compatibility, and affordability for smaller lists where volume of emails is important. In conclusion It can be a great alternative to others if you have a smaller list that requires daily emails.
AWeber offers month-to-month, quarterly, and annual plans for each of its tiers. The least-expensive plan, for up to 500 contacts, is $19 per month (or $49 per quarter or $149 per year). AWeber adds $10 to the normal rate to expand the service to 2,500 users and adds $30 to increase the capacity to 5,000 users. AWeber also automatically sets you up for automatic billing. If you change your mind, the company offers a 30-day full refund.
Every email newsletter app lets you import your subscribers so you can start emailing your existing customers and fans immediately, but most require you to import a CSV spreadsheet of emails and names. AWeber lets you do that, or you can just copy-and-paste your emails from any other app in plain text. It then lets you map the contact info correctly to AWeber's list fields and specify where the subscribers are from so it’ll know whether or not your subscribers need to confirm they want the emails.
Yes, one of the more popular features they offer is their in-depth analytics. This allows you to see things like open rate and click-through rates. It also makes it easy to take action on your stats. For example, you can easily resend a newsletter to anyone who didn’t open the first email or create a segment based on people who clicked a specific link.

We like that AWeber only has one price plan that changes based on the amount of subscribers. It makes it easy to pick the right one straight away, without having to check a long table to compare different offers with varying features. But unfortunately, AWeber isn’t our favourite email marketing solution, ranking rather low in our own table. Their features underwhelmed us, and the user experience is passable at best. Still, if your mind is set on this company, here is their offer:
If segmentation is a key aspect of how you manage your mailouts, then I'd probably look elsewhere for an email marketing solution. The two products I've come across which cater best for emailing multiple segments (and indeed lists) are Getresponse (note: its segments are called 'saved searches') and Campaign Monitor (which offers extremely good segmentation functionality, but at a pretty high price).
When I talked about this with their support they suggested that if I wanted co-registration they can setup for me and all I needed to do was to fire an email to AWeber co-registration system for each user who register at my website with the details of the user. AWeber would have a custom parser for the email and add the user to my list automatically.

I've tried various email services multiple times, but I feel the most drawn to Aweber. I like the ease of their email editor. I also like how easy it is to change the order of my legacy follow-up series by simply dragging & dropping the emails in whatever order I wish on the fly. Yes, Aweber is a little more expensive than some other platforms, but I'd rather pay a bit more for something that fits my needs than to be irritated all the time.I've used various email marketing platforms, and I find Aweber's email editor the easiest to use. It's simple and easy, as it should be. I don't feel like I'm fighting with it to get to work properly, and it makes writing and structuring emails the way I want a piece of cake.
What I like most about Aweber the analytics that the application offers. Compared to other email marketing software in the market, Aweber offers the most specific options in terms of targeting people around the emails they get. For example, Aweber if you send out an email with a particular offer and someone opens it but doesn't click the offer, you are able to know this and decide on the next action to take to convince them to check out your offer.

Tom: Yeah so, I think one of the problems that we see with AWeber, is because we are an older piece of software. We’ve been around since ’98. When you log in, there’s so much that you can do, because we have a lot of different features, right? So, you can either draft your first one time email, you can jump right in and set up your automated campaign, you can create your sign up form, you can import your subscribers from another ESP, or if you have another list somewhere else. So, it’s kind of a, “Choose your own adventure” that happens when you first log in and you set up that initial account. So, I think for customers who may be overwhelmed with email marketing and kind of the, “where should I go on the map?”, type of feeling, what we’ve done is, we have basically an onboarding email series that drips out over the course of 30 days during your free trial.
George: Yeah, I don’t know about you, One Last Tool viewers and listeners, and Tom, I don’t know about you either but, my inbox and I, we have a love-hate relationship. That is, that I love to hate it. So, when I finally let you in my inbox, there is a very good reason that I have that e-book, that checklist, that guide, that webinar. Because otherwise, I’m like, “No, no, no, no. No, we don’t need that.” It’s just how we are so, we dumped out a little bit ago, $19 a month as kind of the starting plan but, are there more? Are there branches to that? Talk me through, how much AWeber’s going to cost me if I’m just starting out to if I’m a super advanced user with several thousand contacts in my database.
**A couple of things to consider are that they do not have a reseller program. If you want to use it for multiple clients, you'll need to run everything out of your account and separate it by lists. Also their mobile app isn't much help. You'll be running everything through the web interface. Finally, you should have a working knowledge of html coding if you're going to use it. You don't have to code to use it, but if you want to tweak the look and feel of it like a designer, you'll need to code to dial in what you want.
Okay, now if you want a success page which is not necessarily required but if you want a page that you sent people to after they confirm that banks them or give some the report that they may have signed up for, you can put the URL here. But that’s not necessarily something you have to do. I’m going to click on save settings. Once you’ve done that your list is actually all set up and now it’s time to create your autoresponder sequence.
