Automatically adding new customers to your AWeber mailing lists, lets you have more time to focus on communicating with customers rather than email list management! After you set up this Stripe AWeber integration, every time there is a new Stripe customer, a subscriber is created in an AWeber mailing list. Get ready for an easier to manage email list.
There is usually a free trial available to try Aweber. Aweber also plays nicely with WordPress and hundreds of other integrations.I've been using Aweber for close to 10 years on and off. I've tried other similar programs such as Mail Chimp and Infusionsoft, but have always come back to Aweber as my autoresponder of choice. I know some of this may have to do with the fact that I learned their system first, but I also think they have a very simple interface and the layout seems logical to me.
When you’re getting started, you’ll need to import your email subscriber list into your chosen service. Aweber has made this easy, by allowing you to import from a variety of spreadsheets or text formats, or even copy-pasting the emails from another app. You can then map the contact information with Aweber’s list fields, and specify where each subscriber is for so you can send the subscription confirmation email to the relevant ones.
Again, click Next Step when you’re ready. You’ll now need to configure a confirmation email for subscriber verification. AWeber provides you with a handy list of pre-approved subject lines that have been shown to perform well. Our recommendation is to use the option that includes your subscriber’s first name, since personalization is always a nice touch:
You can also segment your lists based upon subscriber activity like emails opened, links clicked, and more. Plus, you can use traditional segmentation options as well, like gender, age, birthdays, and more. For large blogs covering a variety of topics, it may make sense to let subscribers sign up for updates based on the topic(s) they’re most interested in.
Copying and pasting contact information from one platform to another is a waste of precious resources. By connecting AWeber with Zapier, you can automatically add subscribers to your email list—no matter where you get their information from. You can also organize contact information any way you like by exporting new AWeber subscribers to your favorite database.
Your webinar registrants want to hear more from you, but copying their information over to your email marketing tool takes time you don't have. Use this Zapier automation to get those registrations into your funnel - no copy/paste required! After you set it up, every new GoToWebinar registrant will automatically be subscribed to a list in AWeber. Congrats, your marketing automation just got even more powerful.
One minor gripe I have however regarding the responsive designs is that to preview them you’ll actually have to send a test email to a smartphone. On other platforms you can usually just hit a ‘preview on phone’ button or similar. The lack of this functionality is not a dealbreaker by any means, but it does slow you down a bit, particularly if you are sending a lot of campaigns every month.
