Overall: Capterra was a completely foreign name to me until I did extensive research on the products, philosophy and services offered. There are more than four hundred software programs, this was the big statement that really drew me in to learn more. Whether you run a non profit, or a church, or a restaurant the software program list is endless and accesible. I'm sure if you had a lemonade stand you would be able to find the product you needed. Navigating the site is easy as well and they don't try to push other products onto you. The customer service is amazing as well and really focuses on customer satisfaction which in turn makes people repeat customers and word of mouth starts spreading so more people can learn about the company. When you are ready to take advantage of email automation, and take advantage of some of the segmentation tools that AWeber has, then I think it’s definitely a great opportunity to pay that $19 a month, and to get into what some of those can offer, to help you monetize your hobby, or monetize your passion, or monetize the beginnings of your business. Hi Ana, I’m currently using Aweber and I have recently noticed that most of the big “gurus” have been using iContact – My understanding is that you can import your existing list directly to iContact without a double opt-in all over again. All this on a “honor” system but if the spam complaints go about “the” threshold – your iContact account could get shutdown.

Nice money savers you mentioned here. But I’d like to mention, be careful when mass deleting the actively subscribed undeliverable. This search field is a bit flawed. I found my own test addressees in this search result when I searched my own aweber subscriber base. Apparently, if there has ever been an undeliverable email (which was the case when my web-host crashed my site in a routine update), said email address will show up in the search results. Make sure you click on each actively subscribed email address before you delete, and it will show whether the “undeliverable” was an isolated incident or a recurring phenomenon with said subscriber. My two cents and good faith attempt ad being earning my keep for a backlink:)

I've tried various email services multiple times, but I feel the most drawn to Aweber. I like the ease of their email editor. I also like how easy it is to change the order of my legacy follow-up series by simply dragging & dropping the emails in whatever order I wish on the fly.
