I love AWeber, too. There have been some complaints from prominent marketers about AWeber and it has to do with the number of people you have on your list. The more people you have on your list the more money you are charged, but, that is true for all auto responder companies. This complaint had to do with poor service in accordance with the amount of money they were paying.
Receive periodic updates about new subscribers to your email list, without cluttering your email inbox with individual notifications for each new subscriber. Use this Zap to automatically add new AWeber subscribers to Zapier's Digest tool. Zapier will then deliver the digest to you via email on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. That way, you'll have an organized round-up delivered to your inbox with your new AWeber subscriber information.
The best part about using aweber is it's relieve of use and ability to hyperlink numerous other programs. Earning it easy to maintain of your customers as well as automate a sequence of email messages. I was able to get my investment in Aweber back inside a few months of using it. This may take more or less time based about how big of the following your business has already.
It’s quite the opposite so, if you can get somebody to actually give them their email address, and say, “I give you permission to send me that really cool e-book, or that really cool checklist, or that really cool thing that you have, and then you can continue to send email, and I will read it, and I will enjoy it.” That’s a really great opportunity that I think a lot of marketers don’t take full advantage of. I think a lot of marketers really rely on the push, the Facebook ads, the blog content, the podcasts. I love all that stuff, and I do all that stuff too, but I think there’s something intimate, something special about creating a really strong bond between the emailer and the email reader, and I think the marketers who crack that code, really see a lot of success.
So, I’m very transparent when I tell people as well that, we don’t don’t have a landing page service. We don’t create landing pages because that’s not our focus. Our focus is just email. We are focused on giving you the best tools and resources to send amazing, beautiful email automated or one time broadcasts, and we integrate with 50 fantastic landing page providers, who will do it better than we will do it anyways. I think that you’ll get transparency, you’ll get a company that focuses on doing what we do really, really well, and not trying to bolt on or do too, too much outside of that, customer service is fantastic. We have live customer service outside of Philly. Everyone here is in the same office, so we talk together, we hang out, they know our product really, really well, the marketers here know our product really, really well, and then education.
Again, click Next Step when you’re ready. You’ll now need to configure a confirmation email for subscriber verification. AWeber provides you with a handy list of pre-approved subject lines that have been shown to perform well. Our recommendation is to use the option that includes your subscriber’s first name, since personalization is always a nice touch:
AWeber has a lot to provide, especially for companies which frequently use autoresponders. The autoresponder series established was among the most intuitive and easiest I’ve ever seen … and of course, once your series is set up, you can enable it to run in the background with no further actions on your part. The WYSIWYG editor has some great functions and current updates have actually enhanced the email style experience significantly. The analytics and reporting abilities are an action above par, as is AWeber’s variety of integrations.
Once you have you list set up, you can then start to create your email series or campaign. This will be your emails that go out one by one each day or however you set the timing of them all. Aweber has a lot of cool features, but again it is a simple format. You can simply copy and paste and drag and drop you emails from say a word doc into Aweber. Or you can start from scratch and write your entire emails within Aweber itself. It has the same look and feel as a normal email platform would have and more. You can add pictures, videos, shopping carts and products, and many more features.
The subscriber agrees that the company has the right to delete all data, files or other information that is stored in the subscriber's account if the subscriber's account with the company is terminated, for any reason, by either AWeber Systems or the subscriber. System accounts can not be transferred or used by anyone other than the subscriber. Accounts which have been transferred to other parties, or show other activity in violation of this paragraph, are subject to immediate cancellation.

MailChimp does not shut you down for affiliate links (I have used affiliate links, and I corresponded with MailChimp support prior to using them to explain what I wanted to do). MailChimp WILL shut you down for using blacklisted links, which tends to happen a lot in a few shady niches (make money fast, lose weight fast, seduce women/men, multi-loser-marketing of any stripe, porn, etc.). Most of my affiliate links are to Amazon, a few are to direct affiliate accounts of musical accessory businesses. None of which are likely to ever appear on a blacklist.
Want to make sure those valuable customers don't get forgotten in your email marketing lists? Set up this AWeber HubSpot CRM integration and we'll manage that for you from then on. Once you do, every new subscriber added to AWeber will automatically create or update a matching contact on HubSpot CRM, giving you complete peace of mind that no one will ever fall through the cracks again.
I wanted a form of subscription that could be confirmed by email on the web page i'm creating and this is amazing, i got a lot more options than i expected, one of them is the option to schedule broadcast messages to your subscribers and you can even use templates on it to decorate according the colors of your website, you can also use integrations to gain subscribers from social media accounts or other platforms like Facebook, Wordpress or even Paypal; The email marketing performance is awesome! you can track how many people open your emails and what links they click, in that way you can do trial and error and you can do better advertising campaing by email, AWeber you made my life easier! Thank you so much for being that awesome!
Mailchimp also provides similar analytics, as well the most clicked links in emails. You can send modified campaigns to subscribers who haven’t clicked on links in previous emails, plus identify bounced emails with Mailchimp advising you on which ones to re-send.  Mailchimp also lets you compare your email performance against others in your industry. Finally, Mailchimp’s A/B testing setup is a lot easier to use, allowing you to test subject lines or even the time of day to send emails.
Pros: I've been using Aweber for close to 10 years on and off. I've tried other similar programs such as Mail Chimp and Infusionsoft, but have always come back to Aweber as my autoresponder of choice. I know some of this may have to do with the fact that I learned their system first, but I also think they have a very simple interface and the layout seems logical to me.
I've tried various email services multiple times, but I feel the most drawn to Aweber. I like the ease of their email editor. I also like how easy it is to change the order of my legacy follow-up series by simply dragging & dropping the emails in whatever order I wish on the fly. Yes, Aweber is a little more expensive than some other platforms, but I'd rather pay a bit more for something that fits my needs than to be irritated all the time.I've used various email marketing platforms, and I find Aweber's email editor the easiest to use. It's simple and easy, as it should be. I don't feel like I'm fighting with it to get to work properly, and it makes writing and structuring emails the way I want a piece of cake.

The kind of reports they have is totally exhaustive. For example user country and region, how many and when users opens your sent email and which links were clicked and how many people reported spam to your email sent is something awesome. Using the reports now I know when does a user prefers to open the emails and I send them just before their preferred time so my viewership of email has also increased.
The lack of a free plan also means you need to start paying straight away (or after the 30 day trial), and even the entry level offer is rather expensive for up to 500 subscribers at $19 per month. You get much more for your money with tools like ActiveCampaign. And while their later tiers are more in line with the competition, you can still find cheaper and with more features by using MailerLite, for instance.
I've used quite a few other email platforms for mass emails and I have found that AWeber doesn't offer as much customization with creating emails. I like to create my own format for emails, and it's a little more difficult in AWeber than some other platforms. It's more of a basic service. I also am not impressed with the home page for the sole reason of not having the key things that I like to see when I first get to a landing page. This is more of a personal preference.
George: Yeah, I’m excited to talk about email marketing too but, I’ll tell you what else I’m excited to talk about, Tom. Viewers, if you have been a viewer for a while, like all the episodes or a few of the episodes, you will agree with me, that today, we have two things on the show that are absolutely cool. One is Tom’s background and setup in general. Two, and I gotta switch to Tom when I say this, that hat people. That hat is awesome.
AWeber lets you manually add up to 10 contacts—subscribers—via a form. Each record collects the name of the person, email address, ad-tracking value, and the name of the initial email message the person will receive. This can turn into a long and tedious exercise for a long list of names. The import tool is a better choice, as it has a textbox to cut and paste an entire comma-delimited list of email addresses. You can also upload a spreadsheet (XLS and XLSX), text file (CSV, TSV, and TXT). Unlike Campaigner, MailChimp, and GetResponse, AWeber doesn't have Gmail or third-party integration for pulling contacts, which is disappointing. You can, however, export the Gmail contacts to a CSV file and use the import tool.
Creating segments isn’t as intuitive as the rest of the tool, but it is possible and is a feature that beginners bloggers might not need to use very often. As you advance in your digital marketing knowledge, segmentation will be something you’ll want to explore as it allows you to better market to individuals based on their behavior, intent, and interests.
Examples include a welcome email sent as soon as a new client signs up to your list of contacts, followed a few days later by an informatory email discussing the products and services you offer, then an email informing on current offers, and so on. You could also create different series of post-purchase emails, based on the type of product the individual purchased.
Besides templates, editing options and strong support, it can host or import email databases; allow autoresponder customization; responsive email design, RSS and email-to-blog functionality; tools to collect and add new names/emails to databases; the ability to integrate with some other programs, and the ability to easily view analytics and performance results.

Nice money savers you mentioned here. But I’d like to mention, be careful when mass deleting the actively subscribed undeliverable. This search field is a bit flawed. I found my own test addressees in this search result when I searched my own aweber subscriber base. Apparently, if there has ever been an undeliverable email (which was the case when my web-host crashed my site in a routine update), said email address will show up in the search results. Make sure you click on each actively subscribed email address before you delete, and it will show whether the “undeliverable” was an isolated incident or a recurring phenomenon with said subscriber. My two cents and good faith attempt ad being earning my keep for a backlink:)

AWeber customers pay monthly subscription fees based on the size of their email audience. This is a surprisingly simple and refreshing formula, especially in a culture when many competitors offer extra tools, extra templates and extra support only for those at the higher service levels. This “pay more/get more” approach also encourages the “bare bones” customers to consider upgrading so they can better access full premium services. But with AWeber, everyone gets access to everything, although the total amount of tools available is fewer than some competitors.
I’m really using it to develop relationships with my existing and potential customers in my field (physical WordPress training courses for beginners) by providing useful hints and tips. I’m sure I will introduce ‘offers’ for them to buy additional services from me (and affiliate products) in the not too distant future, but for now I’m concentrating on getting them to love me! 🙂
AWeber offers a mix of basic features (such as file import) with advanced features (creating your own email templates) in an easy-to-navigate user interface (UI). AWeber's extensive reporting tools and user segmentation abilities make it a solid performer, one you would do well to consider for your business. With more extensive live support options and more information about things that went wrong, AWeber could have been a top-tier service on par with our Editors' Choices for email marketing tools, Campaigner and .
But generally I just leave it pretty much like this and you can choose one of the pre-approved subjects that they give you which is basically different variations of confirm your subscription. Or you can create a custom one and you have to wait a day or so for Aweber to approve it and then you can just say something like this, we received your request, thank you just have to confirm an order to receive. Once you’ve done that click on save settings.
