I've tried various email services multiple times, but I feel the most drawn to Aweber. I like the ease of their email editor. I also like how easy it is to change the order of my legacy follow-up series by simply dragging & dropping the emails in whatever order I wish on the fly. Yes, Aweber is a little more expensive than some other platforms, but I'd rather pay a bit more for something that fits my needs than to be irritated all the time.I've used various email marketing platforms, and I find Aweber's email editor the easiest to use. It's simple and easy, as it should be. I don't feel like I'm fighting with it to get to work properly, and it makes writing and structuring emails the way I want a piece of cake.

Now you can do this with then the editor and that’s actually what I prefer, but if you want these branded things to be automatically added to your e-mails you can add your company name, the URL and a little signature that will go on every e-mail. And then under social media sharing if you want to also tweet that you just sent out a broadcast, you can do that. But I find that to be a little bit pushy so I generally don’t do that and most Internet marketers don’t do that.
This software application was the slowest for filling customers one at a time or by importing a list. Plan extra time for contacts to be processed, especially if you have a large list. You can not segment lists, although you can tag contacts and use those tags to send out projects to different subscribers. You can create a sign-up type quickly. It used templates and the ability to add custom-made fields.
AWeber is a system branded by many experts and professionals as one of the best platforms for email marketing which continues to impress with its superior autoresponders and rich feature set. I've used quite a few other email platforms for mass emails and I have found that AWeber doesn't offer as much customization with creating emails. I like to create my own format for emails, and it's a little more difficult in AWeber than some other platforms. It's more of a basic service. I also am not impressed with the home page for the sole reason of not having the key things that I like to see when I first get to a landing page. This is more of a personal preference.
Overall, Aweber delivers on it's promises, customer service is top-notch as well. I currently signed up for their affiliate marketing, I would recommend it to my audience. 8/10, that's my personal rating.I like the high level of deliver-ability from Awebers' server(s), emails deliver to inbox almost all the time, so long you check for spam trigger words. I have been using Aweber for over 6 months now, and I think it's a great value for money. It has all the essential features anyone would need to grow their business online.
AWeber customers pay monthly subscription fees based on the size of their email audience. This is a surprisingly simple and refreshing formula, especially in a culture when many competitors offer extra tools, extra templates and extra support only for those at the higher service levels. This “pay more/get more” approach also encourages the “bare bones” customers to consider upgrading so they can better access full premium services. But with AWeber, everyone gets access to everything, although the total amount of tools available is fewer than some competitors.
MailChimp – don’t see it used a lot, but I do know that you can get it free for the first 2000 subscribers. Sounds great, but do you really want only 2000 subscribers? (I know it sounds like a great number if you haven’t started your list yet, but come on… let’s shoot for the stars!). After that, it gets much more expensive than Aweber. Plus, have you seen emails from MailChimp? I wouldn’t choose this autoresponder for that reason alone.
Okay, so you’ll be surprised that even though it looks good right here you can get some funky looking e-mails in real life and in an actual e-mail inbox and especially links can be wrong sometimes. So you definitely want to test every e-mail before officially adding it to your autoresponder sequence. But if you go to check your e-mail and everything looks good, click on back, then click on settings. Okay this will determine when the e-mail goes out and in this case because it’s your first e-mail, it goes out immediately after the person confirms. Okay, so that’s automatic for the first e-mail and once that’s done click on save and exit. And you’ll get the message that your message has been saved and here is the first e-mail.

Aweber costs more, and even though it has gone through re-design recently, loses out to Mailchimp in ease of use. But if you’re willing to pay more money, you can always get their designer to work on a template, and undoubtedly the end result will be better than a Mailchimp design. AWeber is the better option for large companies and agencies, since they usually have a larger budget for email marketing. Many larger blogs that have been around for a while prefer it for its better customer service, and easier to use sign-up forms.
