All services provided by AWeber Systems may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission or storage of any information, data or material in violation of any United States Federal, State or City law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material legally judged to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade secret and other statute. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold harmless AWeber Systems from any claims resulting from the use of the service which damages the subscriber or any other parties.
It’s quite the opposite so, if you can get somebody to actually give them their email address, and say, “I give you permission to send me that really cool e-book, or that really cool checklist, or that really cool thing that you have, and then you can continue to send email, and I will read it, and I will enjoy it.” That’s a really great opportunity that I think a lot of marketers don’t take full advantage of. I think a lot of marketers really rely on the push, the Facebook ads, the blog content, the podcasts. I love all that stuff, and I do all that stuff too, but I think there’s something intimate, something special about creating a really strong bond between the emailer and the email reader, and I think the marketers who crack that code, really see a lot of success.
Service provided by AWeber Systems may be cancelled in writing at any time with no penalty. Customer user name and password must be included in the cancellation request. Cancellation will take effect only when the receipt of the cancellation request is confirmed by AWeber Systems. AWeber Systems reserves the right to change the rate by notifying the subscriber 15 days in advance of the effective date of the change.

However, Mailchimp offers a much bigger selection of integrations. It’s seen, for whatever reason, as more of an industry standard tool than Aweber, so some web applications - key examples being Squarespace and Shopify - will offer Mailchimp as a default ‘works out of the box’ e-marketing option. That's not to say that you can't use Aweber with these products, but there will be a bit more configuration required.
We just did an email marketing master class, it was a six-week class, it was free. It went really, really well. We have a private online Facebook community for all of our customers. You can go in and talk strategy in addition to the technical side of things, and we’re constantly putting out a podcast, new videos, new blog content, new guides. Speaking of emails, AWeber's great at that too—as you’d expect. It includes hundreds of templates you can use for your emails, along with thousands of stock photos to make your emails look great and a newly redesigned drag-and-drop email editor to design messages. You can have AWeber send your emails at the best possible time for your contacts to notice and open them, segment your users based on what they’ve done with your emails, and more.
Pros: I've been using Aweber for close to 10 years on and off. I've tried other similar programs such as Mail Chimp and Infusionsoft, but have always come back to Aweber as my autoresponder of choice. I know some of this may have to do with the fact that I learned their system first, but I also think they have a very simple interface and the layout seems logical to me.
More sophisticated split testing options are available in Mailchimp if you're prepared to pay for them - subscribers to Mailchimp's 'Pro Marketer' plan can test 8 variants of e-newsletters against each other. This is undoubtedly useful, but as this will cost you $199 per month on top of whatever you are paying to host your list, it's probably going to be a feature that only large organisations will avail of.
AWeber treats emails a little differently from other services. There are different processes for creating Follow-up Series, which are essentially the auto-responders mentioned above, Broadcast messages, and Blog Broadcasts. Follow-up emails are sent automatically every time a new user is added, and Broadcast messages are one-time messages, such as newsletters. Blog Broadcast grabs posts from a blog and compiles them into a newsletter form. You can also create your own mail templates using the Email Template Manager, where you can customize existing templates or write your own using AWeber's API.
People share their opinions about companies on Twitter each and every day. We monitor tweets about AWeber and apply a sentiment analysis algorithm that classifies these tweets as positive or negative. Every review is from a real person opinion. We use this information and output an approval rating score, which is based on real people, positive and negative, opinions about AWeber on Twitter
One of its most popular capabilities is its Campaigns feature. It allows users to send auto-responders based on day and time, contact behavior and tags that have been assigned to database contacts. Their visual campaign builder lets you easily create automated marketing campaigns and send out targeted emails to your potential customers based on their personal interactions with your business and their integrated CRM lets you keep track of your leads and close more deals to grow your business.
This is not an AWeber-specific issue, these changes impact anyone using an email service provider with a sender address from Gmail, Yahoo!, AOL, Zendesk, rocketmail.com, and ymail.com. So if you use ANY third-party mailing service (such as AWeber or any of our competitors) to send emails for you on behalf they will also need to change the "From" address you send with or your emails will not be delivered.
