Reporting and Analytics – Users can monitor key metrics of a marketing campaign’s performance, such as open rates, bounces, clickthroughs, list growth over time, sign up methods and a subscriber’s activity history. These insights can help marketers continuously improve their strategy by implementing tactics that work and changing tactics that don’t.
I don’t plan to use Aweber with my new blog – at least not for the first few months, but thanks for the review. I might go with Mailchimp (I used to use it before, plus Mailchimp offers lot more features now – segmenting, reporting etc) or perhaps Benchmark email (heard about this service recently, still considering it), and switch over the Aweber once I have setup at least one source of income 😀
Now obviously you want more than one e-mail and your autoresponder sequence and in my experience, the easiest way to add them as not to click create another follow-up, it’s just a copy the one that you already have. Okay, so just click copy and this will copy this template that you already set up for your next e-mail. Okay and this actually obviously copies the exact e-mail so you want to change the subject line. So three mistakes cake bakers make. Something like that, whatever your autoresponder happens to be about and then he added your content just like you would.
Anna, I really appreciate your Aweber review. I wish I could say my experience has been the same. I find it hard to navigate and even harder to understand. I dread the thought of having to login to my account to do anything. I would really like to see more video’s and tutorials, especially on list building., and why can’t I just email my contacts the old way using aweber? You’re talking to somone who has been totally clueless to autoreponders. I’m wondering is there any hope for me (lol)
Your webinar registrants want to hear more from you, but copying their information over to your email marketing tool takes time you don't have. Use this Zapier automation to get those registrations into your funnel - no copy/paste required! George: So, I love it because this is literally what happened people, is that I set the ball up, and he was gonna spike it, and he kind of tapped it. It hit the top of the net, and he saw that it was wobbling back and forth, I was like, “I’m not sure if we’re gonna win this game.”, and then you said one thing, Tom. And I was like, “He just spiked the ball.” That was, that Tom mentioned education, that they’re always creating content, that they have live support, that they’re there to help, and so that was super awesome. Now, as I’ve traveled through the interwebs, there are two types of people that I’ve found. There are those people who, they just get it. Like, they’re technically savvy. And then there are those folks that well, not so much. So, as a first time user to AWeber, what are some of the problems, or a problem that I might run into that will kind of perplex me, and what have you guys done internally, to try to not have that moment happen?
Thank you for your review of Aweber. We appreciate you sharing your opinion and doing the research needed to fairly evaluate this email marketing service. We especially like how you described a weakness in the service and then how to overcome it. We have seen fit to link to this article in our independent Aweber Reviews section. Anyhow, keep up the good work spreading truth.
In order to determine how successful your email campaign is, you need to be able to track analytics. Both services offer excellent options, allowing you to split your subscriber base into lists, sending different communications to each one. Aweber’s dashboard provides clear information on opens and clicks, as well as letting you track unsubscribers.
AWeber Communications, Inc. designs opt-in email marketing software for entrepreneurs and businesses worldwide. It was founded in 1998 by Tom Kulzer after he identified a gap in automated response software for customer support and sales leads. Tom capitalized on that opportunity by creating an “autoresponder software”, which is now popular as AWeber. Since then, AWeber has expanded into a team focused on helping more than 100,000 businesses achieve success with email.
For example, say you're a Volkswagen dealer with a mailing list containing a field called 'car model.' You've used field this to segment your mailing list neatly into the owners of VW Polos, Golfs, Passats, Tiguans etc. You have a special offer which is relevant to Polo and Golf owners, and you want to send this message to those two segments in one go.

Examples include a welcome email sent as soon as a new client signs up to your list of contacts, followed a few days later by an informatory email discussing the products and services you offer, then an email informing on current offers, and so on. You could also create different series of post-purchase emails, based on the type of product the individual purchased.
Using Aweber, you can create ‘goals’ or combine automation rules with tagging to make autoresponders behave in quite funky ways...but if you want to make use of autoresponders in really advanced ways, you'll probably need to look at other products, particularly Getresponse, which provides 'marketing automation' functionality that hooks up to a built-in CRM.
