George: All right so, One Last Tool viewers and listeners, there was integrations there was marketing automation, drip campaigns, there’s tagging, which equals segmentation, there are newsletters and one-offs, and hopefully, hopefully, listeners and viewers, you’re not sitting there going, “Hey, maybe I should do that someday.” No, you should probably have started to put forms on your site and generate an email list, I don’t know, as soon as you opened the doors to your digital business. But, we’re not judging you, we’re just giving you the information today on this podcast.
Overall, Aweber delivers on it's promises, customer service is top-notch as well. I currently signed up for their affiliate marketing, I would recommend it to my audience. 8/10, that's my personal rating.I like the high level of deliver-ability from Awebers' server(s), emails deliver to inbox almost all the time, so long you check for spam trigger words. I have been using Aweber for over 6 months now, and I think it's a great value for money. It has all the essential features anyone would need to grow their business online.
List management. It's easy to upload lists and add new subscribers. It is easy to clean up the lists as well. It serves well if you're looking a way to send out simple emails for a large list. It's also nice to be able to switch between multiple lists to see only the emails that have been sent to a certain list. In other platforms, this has been an issue.
If businesses want to grow, they cannot ignore marketing. Thankfully, there are plenty of email marketing tools available to help even the smallest of small businesses get started. AWeber (which begins at $19 per month) is just such a choice, offering an easy-to-use platform with no hidden surprises. AWeber's templates simplify the process for creating visually attractive email marketing campaigns and the reporting dashboard tracks the most important basic statistics. It can't import contacts from Gmail or other third-party address books, nor does it offer Google Analytics integration. For better third-party contacts integration and tracking, you should consider Campaigner and MailChimp, our two Editors' Choices for email marketing tools. For this review, I signed up for AWeber's Basic plan.
MailChimp – don’t see it used a lot, but I do know that you can get it free for the first 2000 subscribers. Sounds great, but do you really want only 2000 subscribers? (I know it sounds like a great number if you haven’t started your list yet, but come on… let’s shoot for the stars!). After that, it gets much more expensive than Aweber. Plus, have you seen emails from MailChimp? I wouldn’t choose this autoresponder for that reason alone.
Pros: Aweber is great tool for beginners and for those who are in marketing fields. The app provides you with great email marketing services with many features. The drag and drop feature is for email design templates and the feature is intuitive and really helpful. The design you create helps you to get even more subscribers. You can easily customize the subscription forms and even the amount of third party app. I have to say that their customer service is exceptional.
AWeber is a system branded by many experts and professionals as one of the best platforms for email marketing which continues to impress with its superior autoresponders and rich feature set. AWeber provides businesses with the means to automate the process of delivering professionally designed and personalized emails and targeted messages to their customers and send follow up emails based on a schedule. This feature makes it easy for businesses to establish a relationship with a prospect or maintain and enhance a stronger bond with an existing client.
Customer support is also a huge highlight for AWeber. The company deploys a team of email marketing professionals who are highly knowledgeable, responsive, and effective. For those who are new to email marketing, AWeber offers regular live webinars for added instruction and training. Access to data and reports also gives you the insight you need to make better decisions, devise and implement better strategies, and achieve success.
* A quick note about Campaign Monitor: there are some cheaper Campaign Monitor plans available which allow you to host the same quantities of email addresses as outlined above, but they limit the number of e-newsletters that you can send to them. For the sake of a fair comparison, I’ve referenced the costs for Campaign Monitor plans that permit unlimited broadcasts as these plans are comparable in terms of send volumes permitted to the Aweber ones.
